Q. How do I add my band to the Zone?

A. Your band will not be added to the Zone unless you read the Submission FAQ first. It is very important that you read the FAQ carefully or your submission will be disregarded!

Q. How do I update my section on the Zone?

A. If information has changed about your band, please send corrected information to danielle@thezone.org. Please be specific and clear when sending corrections, and don't forget to mention which band you are a member of!

Q. How do I get my band's show dates listed on your calendar?

A. Send an email to danielle@thezone.org and type "show dates" in the subject field. Please include other bands that you're playing with if you have that information, and don't forget to include the name of your band. You can submit calendar dates at anytime and they are usually updated weekly.

Q. How can I get our CD reviewed on the Zone?

A. Very simple, just send us a CD in the mail addressed to:

The Zone
P.O. Box 22558
Kansas City, MO
64113-0558

Q. How do I get our shows reviewed on the Zone?

A. Just shoot us an e-mail and let us know you would like us to attend and review your upcoming show. We will try our best to send someone out! The only thing we ask is that you let us know in advance (uh, that doesn't mean the day before the show). It doesn't hurt to put us on the guestlist, either. Hey, we're poor too. :)

Q. My band isn't from the Kansas City area, can we still be added to the Zone?

A. Well, it depends. If you live pretty close to Kansas City, you can still be added. We have St. Louis bands as well as bands from Salina, Wichita, Topeka, Warrensburg, Joplin, Manhattan, and Raymore on the Zone. If you live outside of Kansas or Missouri, you probably can not be added, but it doesn't hurt to send us an e-mail and ask.

Q. Who would we talk to about artwork for CD's or a web site?

A. We will be happy to help out with artwork or web sites (providing we have the time), please send Danielle an e-mail with the details.

If you have any more questions, please e-mail us (and thank you for reading the FAQ).
